Klangkarussell

Klangkarussell is an Austrian duo (Tobias Rieser and Adrian Held) with a german name that translates to “Sound Carousel” capturing the attention of the music industry with their unique blend of melodic house and nu-disco. Formed in 2011 in Salzburg, the project quickly rose to popularity, winning the hearts of music enthusiasts worldwide. Building upon electronic elements, they express their music in incredible compositions, immersing listeners in a unique world of sounds.

The infectious melody and soulful saxophone riff of this composition resonated with listeners, propelling it to the top of charts across Europe. “Sonnentanz” became a summer anthem, establishing Klangkarussell as a prominent player in electronic music. The instrumental jazz version of “Sonnentanz” was released in 2012 and reached the Top 10 in six different countries (Austria, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, and Switzerland).

The next summer saw the release of a vocal version titled “Sonnentanz (Sun Don’t Shine)” featuring british soul singer Will Heard. The song was one of the early hits in what soon became known as “tropical house” a laid-back, summer variation of deep house often incorporating live instruments.

In 2014, the duo released their second single, “Netzwerk (Falls Like Rain)” featuring vocalist Tom Cane.
